3rd Anniversary of Saffron Revolution
On September 26, 2007 unforgettable historical event occurred in Burma. That was Saffron Revolution led by Burmese young monks. The whole world watched very surprisingly and passionately how Burmese Buddhist Monks sacrifice for their people. In the mean time thousands of people came out and demonstrated against Burma’s brutal illegal ruler military regime along with Burmese Buddhist Monks. During Demonstrating many Buddhist Monks and people was killed and disappeared. Over 200 monks and Nuns sent prisons of remote regions. Since 1962 March 2 military government continually killed thousands of people and poisoned monks, educators, farmers, teachers and students until today.
In September 18 Burmese young monks who sympathy over arresting 88 generation students were demonstrated very peace fully against Burmese brutal military regime in many cities. Instead of negotiating with Buddhist monks, SPDC crack downed brutally on Buddhist monks. In that situation Burmese Buddhist monks who live in abroad led by well known Venerable Sayadaw U Panna Vamsa and Ma Soe Yein Sayadaw formed International Burmese Monks Organization to protect and help in side Burma’s oppressed monks, Nuns and people.
We celebrate this 3rd Anniversary of Saffron Revolution to honor, remember and recognition of our hero fellow monks and people including Mr. Khanji Nagaii who was killed by military regime. In this memorial event we the International Burmese Monks Organization demand to brought justice those who killed innocent monks, Nuns and people during demonstration.
Also we demand military regime to stop illegal 2010 November 7 Election. This Election is only to make slave the whole Burmese people under military rule.
We want our Burmese people not to go to vote SPDC’s sham election and demand to release Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and all Political Prisoners.
We support NLD Party which was won by land slide in 1990 election. NLD is the heart of our people.
